A licensed insurance agent, David Grillo, started Disaster Relief Photography in 2002 to serve people with homeowner and business insurance policies. The service also makes the insurance claim adjuster's job easier.
The photographer goes into a person's home or business to take digital photos of every room and what they contain. After that, he burns a CD of the photos for the client, then archives the same photos on a secure website for retrieval by the client or insurance adjuster.
In the Shelton office, there are many newspaper clippings about fires and other devastating events. Connecticut has even experienced floods, tornadoes, tropical storms and power outages in the past few years.
